A journey through tradition, flavors and natural beauty.
Autumn brings a new charm to Villa Cordevigo, the five-star luxury relais nestled in the Veronese hinterland, where the magic of Lake Garda continues well beyond the summer season. As the air turns crisp, the days shorten, and nature paints itself in warm shades of red and brown, the historic estate owned by the Delibori and Cristoforetti families transforms into a refined retreat for those seeking a restorative escape. The 18th-century Venetian villa, surrounded by vineyards, a centuries-old park, and the rolling countryside, welcomes guests into a cocoon of wellbeing and authenticity. Here, autumn is celebrated as a time for cozy atmospheres, steaming cups of tea, and quiet moments with a book, offering the luxury of slowing down.

Inside the elegant salons, the timeless ritual of afternoon tea becomes an invitation to indulge, while the views from the 40 rooms frame the beauty of the autumnal landscape. At the Fiordilej Bar, guests can discover the artistry of Barman Giuseppe “Pino” Fragnelli through a cocktail tasting dedicated to the creation of Soffio d’Angelo. This signature blend combines Villa Cordevigo Gin with Martini Ambrato, lavender extract, and a touch of Villa Cordevigo extra virgin olive oil – an alchemy of essences that encapsulates the soul of the estate.

Wine culture also plays a leading role in the season’s calendar. On October 18th and 19th , as part of the Giornate delle Ville Venete, Villa Cordevigo will host guided tastings led by an expert sommelier, exploring the estate’s vineyards and traditional winemaking methods. In November, the celebration continues with San Martino: on November 11th , guests and locals alike are invited to gather at a long convivial table to honor the arrival of the new wine, a tradition deeply rooted in Italian rural culture.

A small mass will also be held in the villa’s historic chapel, first mentioned in documents dating back to 1442. Beyond the villa, autumn unfolds in gentle walks and bike rides across vineyard trails, quiet villages, and breathtaking views, embraced by the mild seasonal breeze.

“Autumn is the perfect season to rediscover this place of peace, with slower, more authentic rhythms – says Lorenza Delibori, maître de Maison – Guests who choose to stay here in this period will find a warm welcome, enchanting landscapes, and an intimate, relaxing atmosphere, far from mass tourism”.
At Villa Cordevigo, autumn becomes not just a season, but an experience, an invitation to live the luxury of time, nature, and tradition.
