Born in Iceland, Gulla Jonsdottir studied mathematics and biology before moving to Los Angeles to study architecture at the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
Before opening her own firm, the designer worked for Richard Meier and Partners, Walt Disney Imagineering and Dodd Mitchell Design.
