Dismantling the Silence: Miart new visual 2021 campaign

Dismantling the Silence, dismantling the silence: Miart chooses to start from poetry, closely intertwined with the history of art

Dismantling the Silence is the title of the visual campaign of Miart 2021, the 25th edition of the modern and contemporary art fair organized by Fiera Milano and directed for the first year by Nicola Ricciardi, which will take place in a hybrid, physical and digital form, from 17 to 19 September.

The campaign takes its title from the homonymous collection of poems by Charles Simić – American poet, translator and academic of Serbian origin, winner of the Pulitzer Prize in 1990 – published in 1971 and who turns 50 this year.

Dismantling the Silence: Miart chooses to start from poetry, closely intertwined with the history of art, to build a journey in stages that will be revealed over the months and that from 21 April until the opening of Miart al public on 17 September, it will talk about the many souls of Miart, the dialogue between past and present, history and experimentation and the interdisciplinary approach to the coexistence of modern art, contemporary art, design and applied arts.
