Gianfranco Ferré Home at Palazzo Reale, Milan

Gianfranco Ferré Home will take part to a great exhibition at Palazzo Reale Milano.
Set in the splendid rooms of the “Principe” apartments, the exhibition `L`arte della tavola`explores the history! The set for great occasions is the main theme of the exhibition; a three-centuries story narrated through some films that have marked our imagination.

The essence of Gianfranco Ferré Home collection is inspired by menswear fabrics, such as “Prince of Wales”, a fabric that Mr. Ferré loved to use in his fashion collections and that was used by English lords for their casual outfits. Furniture proposals are inspired by this mood: they take inspiration to the furnishings of the wonderful country houses of late XIX century’s England, that were often characterized by pieces designed by one of the most important interior designers ever existed: Thomas Chippendale. The taste of this collection is characterized by the use of destressed shades on woods and slightly antique finishing in pure Shabby Chic style.
