While museums try to start by respecting the safety distance between one painting and another, in Canada there are those who have thought of an alternative approach to bring citizens back to enjoy art and culture.

The drive-in of art was born in Toronto, a real cinema where you can admire Van Gogh’s paintings.

Because of Covid we had to think creatively

said Corey Ross, a co-producer of the exhibition, delayed due to the epidemic.

And then an exhibition was set up in a huge warehouse in the Canadian city through the projection of the works on walls and floors. You can drive directly inside the building to admire sunflowers and starry nights, comfortably from your seat.

The event, entitled Immersive Van Gogh, is hosted inside a five-story building.

The lights go out and the projection begins

says Ross

It will be almost as if the car is floating through the paintings
