Faraone Auction House in Via Montenapoleone is preparing for its customary, second and final annual in-person event scheduled for Nov. 27th at the Portrait Milano hotel. Participation is possible via streaming, through the dedicated Myfaraone App, by phone or through written offers. A varied lineup of sought-after lots in three different rounds, including one in the morning, dedicated to luxury good, and two in the afternoon with a selection of jewelry and watches.
Afternoon roundup: collectible Rolex and Patek watches
Faraone Auction House’s highlights in this section will be Rolex and Patek Philippe, known in the market as “Safe Choices” because of their high demand and ever-increasing value.
The watch lineup will be headed by a Daytona Cosmograph Big Red 6263 latest reference with manual-winding movement Valijoux 727, silver dial, steel oyster case and bracelet, screw-down pushers, and original additional steel bezel, allowing the owner to turn it into a 6265 model; accompanied by box and warranty and in the hands of the same owner since 1986.
They are followed by two Patek Philippe: a Ellipse ref. 3598, rare in this more oval form of the 18k yellow gold case with crocodile strap and original gold pin buckle, with ultra plat 16250 movement, the thinnest ever made by the Swiss Maison accompanied by original case; a Golden Ellipse ref 3585 More square in shape, with an 18Kt yellow gold case.
Also under the Patek Philippe brand, a Gondolo ref. 5009, like the previous ones in perfect condition, with box and warranty, yellow gold case, crocodile strap and original pin buckle. The selection of watches also continues with a rare Vacheron Constantin Malte Hispahan collection in 18k yellow gold with a full diamond bracelet, complete with original box and archival extract.
Among the jewelry are lots signed David Webb with Bulgari and Frascarolo
In the session devoted to jewelry from Faraone Auction House, a selection of lots signed David Webb from a private collection consisting of rings, in yellow gold decorated with diamonds and enamels, a sautoir, and a series of precious signed Bulgari, including a late 1980s Tubogas Monete collection bracelet with Gallia Massalia silver coins, a Pyramid topaz pendant with necklace, earrings from the Nuvola collection, various rings, and a yellow gold and steel open bangle.
Alongside jewelry by Van Cleef & Arpels, Buccellati, Cartier, Pomellato, Sabbadini, and Faraone, niche jewelry such as the Frascarolo yellow gold, enamel, and diamond animal-themed parure, consisting of sautoir, bracelet convertible to brooch or pendant, lighter, and lipstick case. Other jewels in the auction include a 6.79-carat Fancy Yellow emerald-cut diamond ring (GIA certificate) and a 4.23-carat oval-cut diamond ring.
Big names for luxury good as well, with Hermès, Gucci and Cuvée Dom Perignon
In the morning round, luxury good items offered by Faraone Auction House include the following two Kelly Hermès gold handbags, including a 32 Celier vintage and a 28 Epson returnè, a Herbeg travel bag as well as other accessories from the Parisian Maison such as a vintage crocodile belt, gloves, scarves and bracelets to a Guadalquivir breakfast set.
This is followed by two vintage Gucci signature Bamboo bags in crocodile, one with a shoulder strap and the other without, a Louis Vuitton Capucines limited edition degradé bag, which fades from white to blue, and a series of Chanel signature lots, including a belt with mini clutch.
Closing lot of the auction, in the afternoon round, a Cuvée Dom Perignon Millesime, in Jeroboam size (3l), numbered 393 and part of a 1993 limited series made to celebrate the new millennium. A vintage champagne made in the cellars of Eperney and delivered to the current owner on the eve of the year 2000, kept in a numbered box, made of fine wood and protected by a precious leather cloth, accompanied by a certificate of ownership.
