Cosmoprof is a landmark event for professionals and businesses worldwide: it wrote the industry’s past, promotes the present development of the market, and outlines a detailed, sound overview of its future evolution. For the 2020 edition, over 3,000 companies – more than 70% from abroad – and over 265,000 visitors will gather in Bologna: record results that make Cosmoprof the spearhead of our Made in Italy, and that we reached thanks to our collaboration with Cosmetica Italia and the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ITA (Italian Trade Agency)
The Future Of Perfurmery at COSMO|PERFUMERY & COSMETICS
Following but mostly setting future trends: this is the main goal for COSMO|PERFUMERY & COSMETICS, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna’s show hosting Perfumery & Cosmetics businesses that work in the retail, prestige and mass-market channels.
The show will open at the same time as Cosmopack – running Thursday, March 12 to Sunday, March 15 – in line with the natural business proximity of suppliers and finished product manufacturers in the chain. Hosted at Hall 14, Cosmoprime is the place to visit for previews of perfumery and cosmetics future trends in the retail and prestige channels. The stand will once again be breeding ground for trend scouters, retailers, international buyers and suppliers, and marketing and R&D managers from the major multinational corporations, who will reach Bologna from all over the world to discover the most cutting-edge products and the most exclusive ingredients in skincare and bodycare.
To ensure an easier navigation of the halls for all authorized operators, the indoor spaces will be organized by products, with Green Prime welcoming the “greener” businesses.
The Extraordinary Gallery will present an overview of the latest trends, where independent brands from all over the world will show their own approach to the beauty universe to suppliers, buyers and spokespeople of the global major retail chains. Extraordinary Gallery will also include The Green Selection, dedicated to businesses offering natural products. Cosmoprime will present Zoom on Emerging Prime, an area for businesses attending the show for the first time with groundbreaking products, sure to arouse interest on the market.
Cosmoprime will all be about customization, sustainability and lifestyle beauty. Such are the key drivers of the sector’s growth, as it strives to meet the needs of consumers that – now more than ever – are shopping based on their knowledge and experience.
The dominating digitalization, the care for the environment, the awareness of all damage caused by pollution – not just air pollution, but also the overexposure to Wi-Fi connections and monitors – and the increasingly urgent research of peaceful moments to relieve all tensions: all this has been radically changing the relationship among manufacturers, brands and consumers in the beauty sector too. In the near future, new habits and needs will deeply influence the approach to products. Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna will explore how the cosmetics industry will evolve in the next ten years, and Cosmoprime specifically will show how shopping is bound to turn into a more and more personal experience. By 2030, cosmetics will not simply need to suit the consumers’ needs, but also enhance their uniqueness and individuality.
A preview will already be available in the Garden of Diversity area at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2020: a traveling show will see the creation of “Six4all”, a foundation in 6 nuances with a neutral base and an accurate mix of anti-aging and nourishing properties, to suit countless types of skin. First developed at Cosmopack, the product will be at the heart of an exclusive shopping experience. The latest skin diagnostic technologies will make it possible to assess the main characteristics of the skin; special equipment provided by For lab Italia will rate the moisture and hydration levels to help find the “Six4all” that best fits every visitor.
Perfumery professionals are invited to visit the “The Garden of Fragrances”, an installation that will turn the spotlights on the universe of perfumes. The unknown that threatens our planet’s future looms over the fragrance sector’s growth too. The careful use of natural resources to make up for the needs of the world’s ever growing population will seriously limit the availability of the traditional raw materials currently used to create fragrances. It is thus necessary to find new ingredients that can replace them.
Greenhouse, the installation set up by NEZ – The Olfactory Movement, which monitors perfumery trends and changes, will offer visitors an entertaining, educational experience: a series of tests on traditional fragrances, natural perfumes, and revolutionary scents with stone or mineral notes will raise awareness on issues related to the use of natural resources and the protection of our planet. Fragrance manufacturer Symrise, Zignago Vetro and Eurovetrocap are partners of the program.
