The American School of Milan celebrates its 60th Anniversary of the Foundation

The 60th anniversary of the founding of The American School of Milan will be celebrated during the Gala to be held next Friday, December 2, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan.

The event supports the ASM Fund for Excellence (FFE), a program designed to bring excellence to the school. Since its inception eight years ago, ASM has raised over €1,152,280 to fund 100 outstanding academic and extra-curricular projects that have positively impacted student learning and opportunities across the school.

On the occasion of the 60th celebration, ASM was honored to host internationally renowned photographer Max Vadukul, who produced a ‘day in the life’ report of ASM students for commemorative book made for the anniversary.

His exceptional eye has captured the bonds that unite the students and teachers of the ASM. The book is beautifully designed with a selection of old photos from the 60’s and 70’s juxtaposed with the breathtaking shots of Vadukul.

The photographs bear witness to the ethics that are and have always been typical of ASM; a school where children of different nationalities come together to share, grow and learn.

As usual, Excellence Magazine supports the activities of the American School of Milan as media sponsor.

My professional life has been marked by several big changes that made me grow as a person and as a leader, develop new skills and mental flexibility, which in turn allows me to face challenges from a different, unique perspective. To me, writing represent a way to communicate with myself and with others. Telling stories and engaging my readers are the challenges that I am currently facing within a wider editorial project.
