Set in the heart of the breathtaking Dolomite mountains, in Northern Italy, Rosa Alpina is an intimate boutique hotel boasting 52 rooms and suites, 1 Penthouse Suite and 1 Chalet Zeno, 3 restaurants, family wellness area, adult’s wellness area. The area is a great spot for outdoor activities such as skiing, cross country skiing, Nordic walking in winter and hiking, mountain biking and road biking, climbing etc in summer. Since 2009 part of the surrounding area became a Unesco Natural World Heritage site.
Rosa Alpina has been owned and managed by the Pizzinini family for 3 generations. Mariangel Pizzinini purchased the farm with a small inn in 1939 and in the following decades he and his son Paolo transformed it into a hotel. Now Hugo Pizzinini with his wife Ursula focus on transforming the family business into a company and trying to market the hotel internationally sourcing continuously for new guests.
Restaurant ST. HUBERTUS opened in 1996, awarded with the first Michelin star in the year 2000, with the second one in 2007, and in the Michelin Guide 2018 with the third star, the St. Hubertus reflects the vision of the mountain cuisine by our Executive Chef Norbert Niederkofler . The restaurant with its 11 tables in an elegantly refined Alpine décor and the “Tronco” table in the kitchen is open for dinner only. Closing day: Tuesday. Since 1994 Norbert is part of the Rosa Alpina. He revolutionized the F&B modernizing it for the international sophisticated traveller.
