Milan celebrates design through elegance and innovation.

Milan Design Week confirms itself as the most important international event in the design industry: between the Salone del Mobile and the Fuori Salone, there are thousands of companies and proposals that are presented to buyers, specialized press and sector enthusiasts. Here’s a selection of some of the most original ideas.

GESSI
Gessi remains the undisputed protagonist in the international design scene, reaffirming its role as a symbol of well-being, innovation and Haute Culture. As in every haute couture collection worthy of this name, Gessi presents its most magnetic innovation: Titanium. A material full of meanings, essential and powerful, which embodies the contemporary desire for extreme, boundless spaces, where bathroom and living merge in a new well-being layout.

PICCOLI SMALTI
Piccoli Smalti is the artistic project by Giovanna Ferrero Ventimiglia that returns to amaze with a project that explores the art of cloisonné enamel applied to contemporary design. The artist dedicates herself to surfaces and volumes, giving life to an intimate and powerful collection, in which the memory of Italian craftsmanship merges with the current language.

EMANUELE SANTALENA
Emanuele Santalena presents the must-have of his creations, the CACTUS SIDE TABLE, AESTHETIC GAME BETWEEN FORMS: a formal aesthetic approach where marble, through surface processing, becomes a characterizing element. The perception of two separate but united bodies transmits a sense of lightness. In the heaviness of the material itself, however, there is the harmonious movement of two united marble bodies that recall the organic and natural movement of the cactus. For the occasion, the table was displayed in the shop window of the prestigious Messagerie store in the heart of the Porta Venezia Design District.

FIAMMETTA V – SUONARE STELLA
The collaboration between Fiammetta V and Suonare Stella started last year. This year, for the Design Week, Paolo Stella created a series of candle holders in satin marble, in shades of black, Guatemala green, travertine, white and brown onyx, characterized by different sizes, assembled together and multifunctional.

DSIGNINC MILANO
The creative duo Domenico Iovine and Vincenzo Sabatino return to explore the world of design through a project that redefines the boundary between aesthetic research and material experimentation. An installation that comes to life thanks to the synergy with Italian artisan excellence and that develops as a dialogue between distinct but connected elements, able to blend tradition and innovation in a sophisticated balance. The aim is clear: to offer an immersive and multisensory experience, far from the conventions of contemporary design. Here, manual skill and attention to detail meet new design possibilities, creating a visual and tactile story that transforms space into a dimension to be lived and interpreted.

PAOLO NESI – Circle•D – The Shape of Sustainability
Inside the Salone del Mobile, Circle•D presents itself as a manifesto of harmony, sustainability and timeless design. A collection of modular armchairs and sofas, designed by creative director Giuseppe Dicecca, conceived for indoor and outdoor spaces, where the softness of the shapes meets environmental awareness. No sharp edges, only enveloping curves that invite relaxation and well-being. Circle•D is a tribute to roundness, the circularity of materials and the sustainable life cycle of the product. Each module integrates and transforms, following the natural rhythm of the spaces and needs of contemporary living.
