Honey Gold: a special alloy A.Lange & Söhne

The new Langematik Perpetual presents itself in a special edition in honey-colored gold. Lange declares that the material of the case, of its own proprietary gold alloy, is among all those of the most resistant noble metal. The bezel and the large lugs are mirror-polished, while the carrure is satin. The watch has a thickness of 10.2 mm and a diameter of 38.5 mm.

On the silver dial obtained by a solid silver disk, the luminescent hands and Roman numerals applied in honey-colored gold stand out in contrasting tones. The raised circle with the applied hour markers increases the three-dimensional effect of the dial. The dark brown alligator leather strap with honey-colored gold clasp completes the look of the watch.

What is the Langematik Perpetual?

A perpetual calendar clock that, like everyone, if it was always kept moving, would need a correction only in the year 2.100. The reason is that this is the date of the first exception of the Gregorian account to which the Langematik Perpetual Honey Gold, like all the calendars that know the length of all the months of the year, including February, adheres.

Movement of manufacture SAX-0-MAT

The heart that moves the Langematik Perpetual in honey gold is the L922.1 SAX-0-MAT, an automatic mechanical movement of manufacture introduced in 2001. It is equipped with the patented device ZERO-RESET which, when the crown is extracted, makes the hand jump seconds on zero to facilitate time adjustment. In its operation this useful device is a choice also made by other Haute Horlogerie, in particular Saxons.

The sapphire caseback shows the decorated movement built according to the German and Anglo-Saxon vision, that is on a plate closed to ¾ where other local watchmaking symbols are arranged such as the hand-engraved watermarked balance bridge and the classic neck micrometry adjustment swan.
