“I decided to auction one of my creations on “CharityStars”, to contribute, through my art and my craft, to the fundraising in support of the Covid19 emergency which is continuing to claim victims on our territory”

This is how our remote interview with Eleonora Lastrucci, an established stylist, famous for her beautiful red carpet creations, begins.

The dress I chose to donate was worn by Rachele Risaliti, Miss Italy 2016, and is made with an elastic lurex fabric, adaptable to a size 36 as well as a size 44.

In this strange time that we are forced to live coercively, it is necessary, once more, to think positively; also because tomorrow is already upon us and it will be physiologically recovering tomorrow.

How do you create your beautiful clothes?

I try to create the inner refinement of every woman with fashion, the image must be the mirror of our personality. The dress designed and created for each individual person is something that gives serenity, since you choose to love yourself regardless of external influences, it also allows you to radiate your own inner beauty.

Dostoevsky said that “humanity can live without science, without bread but not without beauty”.

So they are values such as beauty and what derives from contemplating aesthetics, not vice versa, and favoring the virtues that push human beings to make donations that will flow into concrete help, in this case to three great Italian companies committed daily to cope with this emergency.

The initiative has a strong name #vinciamonoi, a wish that serves to spur us all.

Which facilities will benefit from fundraising?

The proceeds were chosen to allocate the proceeds to the Italian Red Cross, Luigi Sacco Hospital in Milan, Spallanzani Hospital in Rome and Policlinico San Matteo in Pavia.

Donations can be made directly on the “CharityStars” website dedicated to the initiative, until April 28.
The invitation is to donate, even a small contribution can help right now, and to do it to support 3 major macro objectives:

Finance the purchase of ventilation equipment
Create new beds in intensive and subintensive care
Ensure health care and the first intervention of medical devices today on the front line

CharityStars is a Made in Italy platform based in Milan, London and Los Angeles dedicated to digital fundraising. A fundraising site for the non-profit based on the auction mechanism.

Through CharityStars you can buy everything: from the sketch by Pablo Picasso, to the papalina of the Holy Father, from Valentino Rossi’s helmet to the private breakfast with Silvio Berlusconi. 95% of the proceeds from this specific auction are donated to charity, while the remainder is retained by the company as a commission.
