Hotellerie: sustainability is the new luxury

Category:

Hotel Regeneration, the largest agora exhibition dedicated to design, conceived and designed by the architect Simone Micheli, hosted the event organized by Excellence Magazine last September 8, which presented a short talk coordinated by Sen. Raffaele Lauro, secretary general of Unimpresa.

It was an important moment of discussion on the expectations and needs that luxury hotels have been showing for some time to meet the needs of customers, who are increasingly attentive to green issues and the sustainability of the services offered.

Many companies took part in the meeting held at OfficinaVentura14 in the VENTURA MILANO district, as part of the Fuori Salone del Mobile initiatives.

Exceptional speakers shared their point of view with the public, bringing interesting testimonies and ideas. Were present Dr. Giuseppe Roscioli, vice president of Federalberghi and President of Federalberghi of Rome, dr. Guido Polito CEO of the Baglioni Hotel & Resort Group, dr. Roberto Imperatrice CEO of Nabucco Holding and Fedegroup, dr. Eugenio Preatoni, President of Domina Group and Avv. Francesca Isgrò President of ENAV.

It was an open discussion, in which the speakers gave testimony of the projects and activities in progress and provided an overview that could be very useful for discussing in depth the issue of sustainability and its impact on tourism and hospitality services. . Customers who choose the new luxury are not looking for opulence and ostentation but services consistent with their values

concluded Sen. Raffaele Lauro, hoping to maintain an open dialogue with the companies, with the institutions present at the meeting and with the public, also through Excellence Magazine and the initiatives promoted in the field of sustainability, such as the next edition of the Green Night Awards to be held in Lugano on November 11th.
