Leonardo Di Caprio and Telmont champagne

Champagne Telmont, a brand of the Rémy Cointreau group, goes well with the well-known actor’s declared image of a supporter of the environment.

Together with its partner winemakers, the Telmont champagne brand has in fact presented itself to the market and set the ambitious goal of producing 100% organic champagne.

It will be possible to achieve totally organic production with a low environmental impact thanks to important interventions on the entire supply chain and production cycle of the prestigious bubbles.

More specifically, the brand will invest in interventions aimed at protecting the biodiversity of its land up to the ambitious goal of achieving the use of renewable electricity for all production.

Even the partner winegrowers become protagonists of the change: Champagne Telmont has in fact several interventions in store to make all the rows of production totally organic by 2031.

Precisely this imprint so strongly oriented towards respect for nature convinced Hollywood star Leonardo Di Caprio to support the project and invest in the brand.

Giving up herbicides, pesticides and chemical fertilizers to renew itself and become totally organic is a very rare choice in the field of champagne: only 4% of the global market pursues this style of production.

Even the brand’s packaging is all about respecting the environment: since 2021 Telmont has in fact renounced gift boxes to reduce pollution and has also chosen to finish bottling in transparent bottles.

In fact, this type of bottle does not contain recycled glass, which is why Telmont has chosen opaque glass bottles, made with 85% sustainable glass.
