Paris finally finds one of the icons of the history of the Ville Lumière!
La Samaritaine, the department store that has been the symbol of Parisian architecture for years, was inaugurated today. The renovation project lasted 16 years and everyone hopes it will restore the desire to shop in the city, after the gray days of the pandemic.

La Samaritaine, which will employ around 3,000 people between shops, luxury hotels, restaurants and offices, will be open to the public on 23 June.
The part dedicated to the store occupies 20 thousand square meters – compared to about 30 thousand square meters when it was closed – and hosts about 600 luxury brands, which combine fashion, lifestyle and gastronomy.
At the fashion level, La Samaritaine will focus on a curated selection of ready-to-wear, accessories, watches and jewelry for women and men and accessories, with a mix of luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Celine and Tiffany & Co., along with smaller brands such as Ganni, Isabel Marant, Wandler and Casablanca.
