Green is establishing itself more and more as a new black in fashion trends. Proposed for both the summer and winter seasons, it is very popular not only in women’s wardrobes, but also in men’s ones.
In the world of watchmaking, the love for greenery has distant roots. Eberhard & Co. was one of the Maison that, in unsuspected times, used it to liven up the dials and bezels of its most iconic watches; therefore the version, in green, also for the Scafograf 300 MCMLIX could not be missing.
This color characterizes the dial, personalized with the name of the model in white and the ceramic, revolving, unidirectional bezel. The indexes are applied, round and triangular in shape at 6-9-12 and the hands feature “vintage” luminescence. Scafograf 300 MCMLIX has a self-winding mechanical movement, is housed in a 43 mm diameter steel case, with a convex sapphire crystal and automatic helium escape valve at 9 o’clock, and is waterproof up to 300 m.
The screwed back is decorated with a starfish, emblem of the collection. The strap is available in water-repellent leather, which accentuates the casual-chic look of the watch, distinguished by green stitching, recalling the tone of the dial, or with a Chassis® bracelet, in steel completed by a Déclic deployant clasp
Eberhard & Co. created the first SCAFOGRAF in 1959 with the aim of responding to the growing demand for watches for diving activities. This model has become one of the greatest successes achieved by the Maison of La Chaux-de-Fonds, which managed to establish itself in the panorama of the most coveted instruments by diving and non-diving enthusiasts.
