Small Luxury Hotels of the World and the new green luxury hotels

It’s called Considerate Collection and it’s the new series of small, luxurious and sustainable accommodations launched by the Small Luxury Hotel of The World chain.

The goal of this new challenge is simple: to demonstrate to the general public that luxury can really go hand in hand with longevity and respect for the environment.

The most prestigious brand in the hospitality of boutique hotels has launched this together with other green initiatives to celebrate its thirty-first year of life.

Consider Collection: the numbers of sustainable luxury

The lucky travelers who want to enjoy the extra luxury hospitality guaranteed by Small Luxury Hotels in the World with its Considerate Collection will be spoiled for choice: there are in fact 26 hotels to choose from.

From the Tabacón Thermal Resort & Spa in Costa Rica, which promotes biodiversity, to the Domaine de Manville in France, which preserves culture, the state-of-the-art accommodations are located in 16 countries.

Collaboration with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council

Each of the Considerate Collection boutique hotels meets the highest sustainability criteria.

To prove it, collaborations have been activated with the most renowned operators specialized in sustainable tourism.

First of all, of course, the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).

It is an international, independent and non-profit organization established by the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

In addition to luxury, declined in all its forms in order to offer guests a “five-star” treatment, the international body has certified each hotel.

The certification concerned the sustainability of the materials, respect for the environment but also the cultural integration sought for each structure.

In short, Considerate Collection is the new frontier of green luxury tourism.

A journey under the banner of sustainability and luxury, which become the new features of the most sought-after hospitality.

A journalist ever since, I love turning the world's events into sentences and lines that can take readers "inside the news", leading them to explore the current happenings with me through my articles. My professional background has allowed me to gain insights into the encounter of two apparently incompatible worlds: luxury and sustainability. Guiding businesses in this direction as a communication manager and event organizer has made me aware that, now more than ever, it is by respecting ourselves and our planet's resources that we should start to create real value.
