Teatro Eliseo in Rome hosts a special evening of music and solidarity to raise money for The Children for Peace with support from ExcellenceMagazine.Luxury and Galanthea.
On Monday June 18, Lina Sastri, singer, movie, theatre and TV actress, and winner of three David di Donatellos and a Nastro d’Argento – an absolute ‘icon of the Mediterranean’ – enchanted the audience of Teatro Eliseo in Rome during “Music for children”, a charity event organised for The Children for Peace. The money raised during the soirée will be used to build a school and medical centre in Gulu in Uganda, where children will be able to access quality education and healthcare, thanks also to the support of the Comboni Missionary Sisters.
The evening was a delightful combination of music, dance and words: Paola Turci, who has been involved in social projects helping children for many years now, treated the public to her powerful voice; Francesco Montanari, one of the most well-known faces in Italian TV drama and cinema gave a performance; while dancer and choreographer Michele Moretti put together a special piece for the event. Simone Lijoi, the historic face of Rai Gulp and friend of The Children for Peace hosted the evening
