Saturday 29 April, presented in Luino.
By Simona Fontana Contini
Palazzo Verbania, a prestigious example of Art Nouveau, with a terrace overlooking Lake Maggiore, in Luino – on the Italian-Swiss border – will host the presentation of the project #Goldenwaters #acquedorate on Saturday 29 April 2023 at 5 pm. The association Amici delle Sempiterne is developing it together with Excellence Luxury Magazine.
The power of the waters of rebirth, from which we are rising again, is leading us all towards a new existence involving the world of visual art, fashion and international beauty.
The event’s special guest will be Jenny Monteiro, fashion designer, Milanese by adoption, an enlightened personality inspired by great culture. During her career she has forged relationships with leading fashion houses and now creates organza and taffeta dresses, lace garments and accessories that embellish the soul of those who wear them. Jenny has walked the international catwalks, from Paris to Milan, from Monte Carlo to Rome and has dressed celebrities for the most famous red carpets.
During the event, President Simona Fontana Contini will present some of the association’s activities and future events which highlight the unspoilt nature of our beautiful peninsula. The Insubria territory is celebrated in Matteo and Marika Laganà’s exhibition, held throughout the month of May at the Relais Villa Porta in Colmegna. Vernice is scheduled for 4 May at 4.30 pm. In addition to the marvellous historic residence, the structure boasts a magnificent rock garden and the Ballroom Limonaia, carved out of the rock and directly overlooking the lake, the great novelty of the 2023 season. At its side, the majestic Torretta built on the rock dominates the fresh waters of the lake.
The association enhances territorial valorisation and, in particular, will do so in cooperation with other important stakeholders during the month of May for an important event at Palazzo Verbania with reference to refined Insubria culture such as the Petit Tour d’antan and the Locarno-Venice waterway. Appointments follow in the summer months in Apulia in Ceglie Messapica near Ostuni with Sudesh Prasad’s own exhibition “The Dream of Reason” in July and Maurizio Boscheri’s and Daniel Calovi’s “WILD COLORS – Animals in art” in August and September. Both exhibitions will take place at the MAAC Archaeological and Contemporary Art Museum. Some of Italo Corrado’s works will be linked to an event in October dedicated to the world of beauty and fashion organised by Emanuela Lanni at the Relais Villa Porta di Colmegna.
The three-year partnership between the Miramare Palace in Sanremo and the collective exhibition organised by Artistic Director Elena Rede continued during the Italian Song Festival. Great fashion and beauty will be in the spotlight with speakers from the world of influencers and lifestyle journalists connected via zoom. (info: @le_sempiterne)
The event is presented with the support of the City of Luino.
During this special occasion, there will be a showcase of a series of publications of the Sempiterne project #orotrailaghi dedicated to the world of children, with illustrations and works by associated artists.
