Ibiza: sustainable luxury villas

Unforgettable sunsets, wild nature, traditions and great romance: this is Ibiza enhanced by the new eco-sustainable creations

Clubs and nightlife, of course, but Ibiza is becoming famous all over the world for another soul as well.

Unforgettable sunsets, wild nature, traditions and great romance: this is Ibiza enhanced by the new eco-sustainable creations.

John Pawson’s green villas

Renowned architect Pawson, in collaboration with the Sabina Ibiza luxury homes complex, has created two residences that fully respect the minimal style that made the designer famous, in the name of respect for the luxuriant nature and for the ‘environment.

Ibiza Preservation Fund and Plastic Free Ibiza were the two partners of the project, which made the complex completely sustainable.

The two residences designed by the famous architect take the names of Can Adelfa and Can Almendro: two villas that wisely blend simplicity and rigor.

Over 1500 meters for the first residence, with an all-round luxury environment: seven bedrooms, an indoor swimming pool, a cinema room and two annexes make Can Adelfa the perfect combination of space and intimacy.

Almost 1800 meters instead for Can Almendro, a residence that rises in a truly incredible position: sea and mountains meet and can be admired from the wide spaces of the villa without any solution of continuity between inside and outside.

Password: sustainability

Every type of technological and structural device has been adopted to make these homes respectful of the environment of the splendid Ibiza.

The insulation of the walls allows to reduce consumption while glass, a material not very suitable for energy saving, has been limited.

In addition to enjoying complete immersion in nature, the interiors of these two incredible villas delight the gaze and soul of those who will live there thanks to an important attention to art: several works by the likes of Sir Antony Gormeley OBE, Marc Quinn , Alex Gray and Sukhi Barber.
