The headlamps and mirrored Porsche lettering at the rear are a first for the house.

The plush interior features a profusion of monitors, with a fully digital instrument cluster and a multimedia system that can be controlled via a 10.9” display.

The German carmaker invested considerable effort in minimizing hardware controls. In line with the car’s electric drive, leather was replaced by sustainable materials.

The Taycan is propelled by two compact electric motors at the front and rear axles. A peculiar feature of the car is the two-speed transmission that better distributes high power. Boasting excellent performances, the Taycan accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in under 2.8 seconds (under 3.2 for the Turbo) and hits a maximum speed of 260 km/h.

The 93.4 kWh lithium-ion battery lasts for a range of up to 412 km for the best-performing Turbo S variant and up to 450 km for the Turbo. The 800 V technology only takes a few minutes for a full charge and a 5-minute charging (from high-power charging points) is enough to ensure 100 km of range.

The German house has always promised that Taycan drives like a “real” Porsche. This is possible thanks to the Porsche 4D Chassis Control system, which analyzes all chassis components in real time including pneumatic dampers and the Torque Vectoring  ̶  the system that varies the engine torque it transfers to the wheels depending on the driving conditions. Based on their needs, users can customize the car settings by choosing from four driving modes: Range, Normal, Sport and Sport Plus.
