His Serene Highness’s attendance served as a deeply meaningful symbol of Monaco’s enduring commitment to global health and scientific innovation. H.S.H. Prince Albert II met with conference organisers, speakers, and beneficiary institutions, recognising their work in uniting the financial community to fund cutting-edge pediatric cancer research.

Co-chairs Justin Hilbert and Florence Tournier were honoured for their continued leadership and dedication in bringing Sohn Monaco to life. “As Sohn New York celebrates 30 years of impact, Sohn Monaco marks its 5th edition of uniting finance for a greater cause,” they said. “We are proud to unveil a remarkable lineup of speakers, all joining us to invest in the future of children battling cancer.”

Founded in 1995 to honour the memory of Ira Sohn, The Sohn Conference Foundation has since inspired more than $150 million in charitable giving across nine cities on five continents. Each conference offers attendees access to exclusive investment ideas from top managers—while directly supporting children’s health through science and care.

This year’s event continued that legacy with standout presentations from top-tier investment speakers, including: Ali Akay (Carrhae Capital); Pedro De Noronha (Noster Capital); Per Johansson (Origo Funds); Margaret Jones (Taconic Capital); Eric Knight (Knight Vinke Asset Management); Per Lekander (Clean Energy Transition); Oliver Scharping (Berenberg); Beniamino Sciacca (SSVL); James Smith (Palliser Capital) and Nicola Takada Wood (Asset Value Investors).

The conference also welcomed notable special guests whose contributions span finance, science, and philanthropy. These included Pierre-André Chiappori (Minister of Finance, Government of Monaco); Davina de Beaurepaire & Nathalie Chateau-Rudzinski (Co-Founders of DĀNA Mécénat); Pascal Gentil (Olympic Taekwondo Champion) and Jean-François Peyron (Inserm Research Director, C3M).

All proceeds from the conference—including ticketing, raffle entries, and sponsorships—support research institutions such as the Paediatric Haematology-Oncology Department of the University Hospital of Nice (INSERM/C3M).
