The new fragrance by Kajal Perfumes Paris.
Kajal Perfumes Paris announces the debut of Kajal Topaz, the new fragrance unveiled in an exclusive preview at Pitti Fragranze 2025 in Florence. Kajal Topaz is described as “a light in the shadow, a beacon, a guide” and as with every creation by the maison, love and gratitude serve as guiding forces in its conception. Born from the deep connection between Moe Khalaf, the brand’s visionary Creative Director, and Vincent Ricord, the nose behind the fragrance, Topaz emerged from an authentic conversation, from the spontaneous sharing of experiences and emotions.

“The more I shared with Moe, the clearer the direction became. So, it was not as clear as a perfect finished fragrance in my mind, but what was clear is that it was the direction of what I wanted the emotion of the fragrance to be.” explains perfumer Vincent Ricord, creator of the fragrance, paying tribute to one of the most authentic and universal values: friendship.
“The creation of Topaz holds a special place in our hearts. It began without intention, a simple, beautiful moment between friends. Conversation flowed, ideas were shared, and creativity unfolded naturally. What followed was shaped by that moment, a reminder of the beauty we can create when we are truly connected and inspired by those around us.” adds Moe Khalaf.
Throughout the centuries, topaz has been revered as a symbol of protection, loyalty, and connection. Today, it becomes the inspiration for a fragrance that celebrates the warmth and strength of bonds capable of enduring gracefully through the seasons of life.

Topaz opens with an elegantly vibrant fusion of black lemon and elderflower, blended with rum oil and orange blossom, symbolizing abundance and joy. The heart notes unfold in an embrace of cassis, cedarwood, candied lemon, and rose absolute, representing emotional depth and resilience. Finally, the base notes reveal a warm and sophisticated union of ambergris, ambroxan, musk, and cashmere wood, symbols of comfort and endurance.
Here, the contrast is between Topaz’s citrusy and volatile opening and the deep, intense woody notes, combined with sweet and warm base notes, which come together within the fragrance.
