10 Corso Como has inaugurated its unique location in the United States, in New York, at the historic Seaport District, contributing to the transformation of the Lower Manhattan neighborhood into a cultural and entertainment center.
“I am very happy to have brought 10 Corso Como to New York” said Carla Sozzani, founder of this iconic retail reality. “Almost 30 years after having opened in Milan, being part of such a stimulating rebirth in one of the city’s oldest artistic and commercial districts is a dream“.
The new store is located on the first floor of the historic Fulton Market Building and bears the signature of Kris Ruhs – already behind the projects of all the venues of 10 Corso Como.
“I am incredibly excited to be part of such an iconic brand and to bring this truly unique concept to New York,” said Averyl Oates, Managing Director of 10 Corso Como New York “I have always admired 10 Corso Como for its authenticity and great quality, and I am happy to have had the opportunity to interpret this heritage in a way that will be extremely relevant for New Yorkers“.
The New York artist Kris Ruhs has designed the interior of the store, combining its distinctive aesthetic vision of all 10 Corso Como, in Milan, Seoul, Shanghai and Beijing – with the tradition of the historic Seaport district.
The space of 28,000 square meters, houses a careful choice of fashion, design objects, books, along with an art gallery and photography, a garden and a 10 Corso Como Café with Italian cuisine.
