Dolce & Gabbana big party in Syracuse

Leaving Taormina ten years ago, to then touch cities such as Naples, Capri, Lake Como and last year Venice, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have decided to return to Sicily for this important anniversary

Dolce & Gabbana choose Syracuse to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their high fashion in Italy.

From 7 July until 11 of the month a great event was organized, in the style of the two creators with special guests such as Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, Beyonce and Monica Bellucci.

Leaving Taormina ten years ago, to then touch cities such as Naples, Capri, Lake Como and last year Venice, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have decided to return to Sicily for this important anniversary.

The grand tour starts this evening with a private welcome event. Tomorrow appointment at the Grotta dei Cordari of the Archaeological Park of the city, where the creations of High Jewelery will be on stage.

Saturday will be the turn of Piazza Duomo with the Haute Couture fashion shows (for women) and Sunday in the village of Marzamemi with the Haute Couture for men. The closing event is scheduled for Monday at the Maniace Castle in Syracuse.

Over 700 guests are expected and many celebrities are expected. As already mentioned, numerous names are already circulating, but there are no confirmations yet: “We cannot name any names but we can say that everyone is excited to arrive in Sicily and Syracuse, for many of them it is the first time”, said Fedele Usai, group communication and marketing officer of Dolce & Gabbana.

The event will bring great visibility to the city of Syracuse. The numbers are emblematic: a total of 1,690 overnight stays are booked in 20 hotels, 900 workers involved, 600 of whom are linked to local industries for a total of 40 companies, 150 catering specialists, in addition to the farms that will provide raw materials for catering.
