DYNAMIQ GTT 165 the first super-yacht that flies just an inch out over the water

With the GTT 165, the latest and largest model in its range of next-generation superyachts, Dynamiq is proving again that the days of dull yachts are over. This 50-metre superyacht is fresh, sporty and filled with innovations to outperform its rivals. The new model continues the design philosophy of the much-acclaimed GTT 115 designed by Studio F. A. Porsche, which young Monaco-based brand launched in 2017.

What makes the GTT 165 unique, is that the first time a superyacht is equipped with two underwater foils: an aft Hull Vane and a forward T-foil developed by Dutch hydrodynamics specialists Van Oossanen in association with US-based Naiad Dynamics, world leaders in motion control systems. As the yacht increases its speed, the foils lift the hull up, decreasing drag and increasing speed.

As a result only Dynamiq can offer a 50-metre yacht capable of 20 knots that is also capable of crossing the Atlantic at 17 knots (for those who want even more speed for faster transfers, a GTS version is available powered by more powerful engines that can reach 25 knots).

This use of avant-garde technology is proof of how Dynamiq is shaking up the market. But the innovations continue. Her hybrid propulsion system is another innovation and the sunroof can be fitted with 55 sq/m of solar panels that help to recharge the Lithium-Ion battery pack. Running on ‘green’ electrical power, the yacht can stay at anchor in complete silence overnight with no generators running, or provide a couple of hours of low-speed “breakfast cruising” in zero-emission mode.

The GTT 165 is available in two versions: a 5-cabin layout (with a second master suite on the lower deck) or 6-cabin layout (if more party quests are coming aboard). A spacious glass-covered beach club houses a dedicated spa area that can be also fitted out as a gym. In addition to the ample lounging and socialising zone on the main deck aft, there is a huge sun deck of almost 20 metres in length with dining facilities for a full complement of guests, bar, cinema lounge with 75’ TV, and Jacuzzi with sunbathing area.

“Price and performance are the key factors here,” says Sergei Dobroserdov, founder and CEO of Dynamiq. “There are so many 50-metre yachts available, but we asked ourselves ‘What can we bring to the market that makes more sense for our clients and offers them more?’ The GTT 165 is aimed at today’s active owners who spend most of their time on deck in the open air and want to experience different destinations, or cross the Atlantic quickly and enjoy endless summers in the Med and Caribbean, on a more manageable and economical size of yacht at the very attractive starting price of €24,400.000.”

Dynamiq’s technical department is working to start construction later this year so that a discerning owner can take delivery of this excitingly innovative yacht in time for the 2021 Mediterranean season. Of course, you can also create your custom GTT 165 using Dynamiq’s unique Online Configurator at www.bedynamiq.com
