The Louis Vuitton autumn winter 2020 2021 men’s fashion collection, designed by Virgil Abloh, presented at Paris Fashion Week, is inspired by René Magritte, his dreamy and surreal art.

There are two must-haves: the ruffles, which we find adorning the sleeves and bibs of shirts, the outer edges of coats and sashes that tighten the waist of cigarette trousers. The other is the cut, slicing in some outerwear, which reveals the color of what is worn underneath.

The final looks are an absolute homage to the world represented in René Magritte’s paintings, as his canvases tell of a possible future, where technology and tradition, essentiality and classicism tell the story of today’s man.
