Sharing the same foundation date, Chloé and Fusalp were both established in 1952. For over fifty years, they have been building their identities by experimenting with style and innovations, and have thus become true icons in their fields. Their paths have now crossed in a collaboration that is all about fashion and tech. French-style high-performance skiwear by Fusalp has turned to Chloé’s timeless spirit for a capsule collection echoing the ‘70s.

Celebrating vintage elegance with a tech twist, this skiwear collection is made for alpine resorts and cities alike. The creative tandem results in items like a puffer jacket, a smocked jacket, high-waist fitted pants, a ski suit, and color-block sweaters. Accessories include gloves, ski goggles made in partnership with Dragon, and a helmet.

The capsule collection is only available for purchase at net-a-porter.com. Starting November 1, it will also be on offer online on both brands’ websites and in stores. New cults for ski lovers.

One more collaboration stars in this 2020 F/W season, one that has already reached its third edition: Rick Owens X VEJA. A green abstract concept inspiring a range of sneakers that test the boundaries of fashion with sustainability in mind. Engrained in the eco-friendly shoe brand’s DNA, the environmentally conscious attitude is what makes this line peculiar, with extra-sustainable creations.

The Runner Style 2 is a remake of low-top sneakers from two seasons ago, after thorough research into recyclable materials. The midsole is composed of 46% brown sugar and 8% banana oil. Smoother and lighter, the first-ever natural cork sole integrates 30% Amazon rubber and 31% rice waste. The V-Knit uppers, made in 100% recycled polyester from plastic bottle, can also be found in the Runner Style Mid: a high sock sneaker that blends Veja’s vision with the US designer’s. In this style, the 54% organic midsole is combined with a cork base, promising better damping and rebound thanks to natural latex. The lengthwise and side cuts improve flexibility and comfort for long enjoyable walks. Cool that respects nature.
