In May, THE VIEW Lugano will be organizing an important cultural initiative, hosting well known authors and combining the pleasure of reading with the pleasure of dining.
Throughout the month of May, the exclusive boutique hotel THE VIEW Lugano, will organize and promote an important cultural initiative in conjunction with a gastronomic experience of significance.
THE VIEW Lugano, the stylish design hotel which won the “Swiss Leading Design Hotel Award” at the “World Travel Awards” for the second consecutive year, will host six note worthy authors of the Italian literary scene. They will not only present their works personally but will also be available to meet readers and fans during the cocktail that will follow on the Terrace of THE VIEW Lugano, with its fascinating view over the city.
Duilio Parietti, an author himself and director of Radio Fiume Ticino, will be introducing the various authors and coordinating the event and will present his own book on June 8th.
And there are more surprises in store.
After the cocktail of each event, the author of the evening will be the guest of honour at an exclusive dinner, where Mauro Grandi, the prestigious head of the gourmet restaurant THE VIEW Lugano, will create each course based on the title of a book by the author of each respective evening.
Guests will not only enjoy a delicious meal prepared by Chef Grandi in an exclusive atmosphere, they will also have a chance to chat with their favourite authors and gain some insight into the inspiration behind the works.
A truly unique experience not to be missed, where one can satisfy ones’ literary passion and ones’ palate at the same time!
