From June 27, the reopening of the prestigious Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco boutique hotel in Capri has reawakened the dream of a Capri where natural beauty, the green philosophy, sustainability and ultimate exclusivity reign, with glamorous, bespoke services offered to accurately selected guests.
In this oasis of peace where the respect of the environment blends with comfort, relaxation and well-being, the hotel is also gifting his fine guests with the opportunity to live genuine olfactory experiences of excellence. In the hotel hall and every room, guests will find samples niche natural, artistic, persistent and harmonious fragrances to test, created by Roman designer Mauro Lorenzi.
In particular, the seven perfumes from the brand’s latest collection – the “Septimontium II”, born of the creative collaboration between Lorenzi and great master perfumer Maurizio Cerizza to celebrate the foundation of Rome – will be available for purchase on the seven hills.
Honoring the floristic kingdoms, nature, and the history and magic of these ancient places, the seven fragrances bear Latin names, which also highlight their historical and cultural value: Aventinus, Caelius, Capitolium, Esquilinus, Palatinus, Quirinalis and Viminalis.
The collection, which met a great success both in Italy and abroad, was previewed in April 2019 in Milan at “Esxence 2019”, the world art perfumery show. It was later presented at prominent international events like the 76th Venice International Film Festival and the 2019 Rome Film Festival. Commenting on the brand’s new presence in a famous a location like the Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco hotel in Capri, the designer said
I have always loved Capri, just like Sorrento. I am proud that my brand will be present on the most beautiful island in the world and at such a glamorous hotel, where the art of hospitality is finely celebrated in style and in the respect of nature, like my fragrances. This collaboration, which is not simply commercial, is an important first step for me, and I would like to thank Valerio Paone for it. A step that, I hope, will further nurture this passion for the beauty of nature, which unites us and triumphs in Capri
