Ottavio Fabbri: a starry constellation for Bosideng’s official debut at the Milan Fashion Week
Chinese down jacket brand Bosideng joined the official event schedule at the Milan Fashion Week, where it presented its down jacket collection at the Milan Triennale Design Museum, a famous landmark of Italian art and architecture.
The show was introduced by a video signed by versatile, prominent Norwegian artist, photographer and video-maker Sølve Sundsbø.
An emotional, multisensory performance experience enriched with tunes by sound designer Michel Gaubert, serving as the background to Kendall Jenner’s appearance on the runway.
On stage, the brand’s Fall/Winter 2019-20 collection, based on nature and its spectacular sceneries, unfolded under three main themes: glaciers, landscapes and starry skies.
For the occasion, renowned Italian artist of the stars Ottavio Fabbri, globally known as the “Starmaker” or the “Mozart of Paintings”, specifically created the “Starry Sky” painting for Bosideng.
His exclusive art inspired the starry collection that Bosideng conceived for the Milan Fashion Week, a fusion of the Eastern and Western cultures.
For its debut on Milan’s womenswear catwalks, Bosideng set up an evocative show, with celebrities like Nicole Kidman and Chiara Ferragni sitting in the front row.
