“SPOSARSI A VENEZIA”: a wedding Expo in Venice

“SPOSARSI A VENEZIA … CON NOI” (“Getting married in Venice … with us”) is an exclusive wedding expo conceived by Wladimiro Speranzoni and Donatella Mola, coming back this year for its 24th edition. The WEDDING EXPO will take place on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17, 2019 from10am to 7pm at the unique Complesso dell’Ospedaletto, built on a former hospital caring for the poor and the orphans. Its church and halls will now welcome visitors of the exhibition by courtesy of Istituto di Ricovero ed Educazione and Fondazione Venezia Servizi alla persona, both offering sheltering, education and home assistance services to those in need

The WEDDING EXPO will take place on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17, 2019 from10am to 7pm at the unique Complesso dell’Ospedaletto, built on a former hospital caring for the poor and the orphans. A visit to the expo will be a not-to-miss opportunity to discover the Complesso dell’Ospedaletto, constisting of the Cortile delle Quattro Stagioni court, the church of Santa Maria dei Derelitti, the Scala dei Sardi staircase, and the Sala della Musica music room.

There is more to WEDDING DAY than meets the eye. Dressed in tulle, chiffon, rebrodé lace and pleats, the contents and values it stands by are the lifeblood of this exhibition exploring the wedding universe. The expo visitors will have a chance to enjoy the greatest bridal looks, experience the charm of the essential, get lessons in beauty, and learn how to dress playing with light and transparency.

They will be given the opportunity to pick the hotels of their dreams in breathtaking locations and choose from an exciting offer of catering and entertainment options, lose themselves in the timeless purity of flowers, capture their best memories with a click, thank their guests with the right favors and plan their honeymoon.

WED PARTY ON BOARD GALEONE VENEZIANO

An extraordinary night awaits future married couples on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 8pm to midnight.  The wed party will take place on board a Venetian galleon, modernly renovated and ready to lead the guests to the discovery of the Lagoon on an enchanting night tour of its loveliest spots.

WEDDING FASHION SHOW & CHARITY EVENT

As in the past editions, “SPOSARSI A VENEZIA … CON NOI” will hold a WEDDING EVENT aimed at wedding planners and event organizers on Friday March 15, 2019, from 3pm to 9pm. The event will include B2B meetings, a Fashion Show and a Charity Event to raise funds for Fondazione Città della Speranza and Fondazione Lene Thun, charities working in pediatric hospitals. Among other models, Riccardo Pagan (Mr. Universe) and Pamela Valle (Miss World Sport) will walk the runway wearing outfits created by Atelier Emè, a fashion studio in Treviso, while Manuela Levorato (international multi-medaled sprinter)Francesca Bettrone (Olympic speed skater), Rachele Campagnol (world artistic roller skating multiple champion)Giulia Paoletti (young horseback riding champion), Francesca Cipelli (paralympic long jump athlete), Federica Voltolina (ex patient assisted by Città della Speranza and lyric singer) and Ermelinda Damiano (president of the Venice city council) will be modeling for Sabrina Franceschini’s brand “Made with Love” to support Fondazione Città della Speranza.
