The project for artistic enhancement and dissemination (M)CoviDa. State a casa, vi porto io in giro per il Belpaese (Stay home, I’ll take you around Italy), conceived and created by the artist Carmine C. Sabbatella, sculptor, engraver and artistic director of Excellence Fine Art, has traveled our peninsula proposing a new way to enjoy the art of our beautiful cities.

The empty cities have donned new clothes, which we had never carefully scrutinized, the frenzy of the times often keeps us distracted from the beauty that surrounds us. From this evaluation, the idea of bringing aesthetics back to the eyes of the less attentive was born
Micro stories, created on instagram, thus become descriptive images of the Italian artistic heritage. Impossible not to think of music, as a further component of our culture, which has given the project a new popular form, creating a pleasant pill of culture.
Even the places where the video is used by the public are an innovative choice, in addition to social networks, instagram in particular, Carmine C. Sabbatella, proposes the inclusion of the project in vending machines equipped with a screen, to bring culture to everyone’s eyes. educating to art, our greatest wealth.
Eleven places in Rome are represented in the project dedicated to the Eternal City, from the Pantheon to St. Peter’s, from Piazza di Spagna to the Colosseum, just to name a few.
The video is entirely produced by Instagram stories, using the gifs of the social, always mounting with only the mobile device.
An unpublished piece, MINIMAL, written by Giuseppe Cacciola, percussionist and drummer of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, performed in duo with Andrea Santarsiere, percussionist, drummer and assistant timpanist of the Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, is sound of the video accompanying this innovative project.
