Aston Martin pays tribute to James Bond with a huge limited-edition DBS Superleggera and this is also an homage to the 50th anniversary of the movie “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”, only 50 luxury cars examples will be produced, all covered in the same olive-green hue that Bond’s 1969 Aston Martin DBS wore on the silver screen.
If you want to know what makes this modern car distinct from other DBS Superleggeras, we provide to you all the information that you need to discover.
The luxurious motor pays tribute to the 1969 James Bond film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” starring George Lazenby. The 50 units of the exclusive motor will go on sale at the end of this year. The special Aston Martin supercar with modern design features a set of diamond-turned alloy wheels, a carbon fiber splitter, and aero blade and even has limited edition Bond badges.
Just an important detail: the limited run cars are finished in “Painted Olive Green”, the same as the 1969 classic from the film. The DBS Superleggera is a muscular modern car that commands attention, but the Olive Green gives it a subtlety that belies the beast beneath. And, as an optional extra all 50 owners of the special edition model will have the option to spec a drinks case: the case fits into the boot and comes with a red felt lining, four champagne flutes, and space for two bottles of champagne.
The interior of this Aston Martin luxury car is trimmed in black leather and grey Alcantara, again to match that of the 1969 model. With a unique design, it also comes with a range of red trim highlights such as red piping, stitching and embroidered limited edition badges.
According to Marek Reichman, vice president, and chief creative officer at Aston Martin:
Creating a James Bond special edition is always an exciting challenge as we work to create a car that embodies the legend of James Bond, and the original movie car
