Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo presents the first concept car dedicated to virtual motorsport

Ferrari chases innovations and gives life to its first concept car dedicated exclusively to the world of virtual motosport.

We’re talking about the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo, a car that rests on the tradition of the Maranello company in the field of motor racing, starting with the number 75 that stands out on the side which thus concludes the celebrations dedicated to Ferrari’s seventy-fifth anniversary.

75 years ago, in fact, the first car of the Prancing Horse, the legendary 125 S, came out of the gates.

The new car represents an important step by Ferrari into the virtual arena, aimed at exciting new generations of motorsport enthusiasts, as well as being a manifesto of the future of the road and racing car, as imagined by the Maranello designers and engineers, who aims to become a source of inspiration for the technicians, designers and drivers (real and virtual) of tomorrow and to express the concept of beauty and innovation for Ferrari at the highest levels.

The design and features of the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo

Conceived by the Ferrari style center, under the direction of Flavio Manzoni, the design of the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo draws inspiration from the world of Ferrari sports prototypes of the 60s and 70s which enjoyed enormous success in endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, won by Ferrari nine times, and the 24 Hours of Daytona, projecting them towards future scenarios.

Its lines embody the DNA of the historic Ferrari 330 P3 and 512 S and represent, at the same time, a tribute to the winning history of the Prancing Horse in the world of competitions, as well as the anticipation of future evolutions of covered-wheel racing cars.

Presented during the Gran Turismo World Finals, held today in Monte Carlo, the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo will be available to all GT7 users starting December 23rd.
