The Gemera is the Koenigsegg’s first four-seater supercar and the world’s first Mega-GT created by the Swedish manufacturer of high-performance sports cars.
“Gemera” is a combination of two Swedish words: “ge” (give) and “mera” (more) means “to give more”. An appropriate name for a luxury car that adds features and functions without taking away anything that makes it a truly modern car.
This supercar is limited to an edition of 300 models: as a perfect modern car for a luxury lifestyle, it comes with the most emblematic sound form a 3-cylinder engine ever: the hybrid powertrain of this supercar is made up of a combustion engine that runs on renewable alcohol fuel and three electric motors. Also, the supercar features 1.27 megawatts of power and 3500 Nm of torque and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.9 seconds and to 400 km/h in record matching pace.
Equipped with three electric motors, the Gemera is an expensive car produced by the Swedish high-end brand that can drives totally silent up to 300 km/h, and the powerful 800V battery offers in itself a range of up to 50 km. With a modern design, the Gemera is a safe luxury car and comprises the most famous Koenigsegg traits like its wrap-around jet fighter inspired windshield, the hidden A-pillars, the simple shapes, the short overhangs, and the large side air intakes.
The modern car’s doors allow effortless access and a very small opening footprint. Along with air vents combined in taillights and headlights, top-mounted titanium Akrapovič finishes, rearview cameras are used in place of mirrors.
The supercar’s exterior unique design features a bold and aggressive frame. Unbarred for both front and rear passengers to enter or exit, there was no detail spared on the interior. Also, there are two cup holders per person, one hot and one cold, a routing wheel with leveled graphics screen, leather-upholstered electrically adjustable seats, and a total of four touchscreens.
With 500-hp electric motor for each rear wheel, a 600-horsepower combustion engine in between, the third 400-hp electric motor sits in front and drives the front wheels. The supercar also features an 800-volt, 15 kWh battery pack behind the front wheels, which provides power to the electric motors.
