An exclusive classic car event in Andermatt.
Supercar Owners Circle, the exclusive international community of supercar, hypercar and classic car enthusiasts, will be back on the track to celebrate its tenth anniversary with a special event. From June 21st to 23rd the charming village of Andermatt, where Florian and Stefan Lemberger founded the club in 2014, will gather some of the most iconic cars in the automotive history. The Andermatt event kicks off the tenth anniversary celebrations, which will continue in Puglia in September.
Supported by The Chedi Andermatt and Andermatt Swiss Alps, the company committed to enhancing Andermatt as the Prime Alpine first-class destination involving the local community, people and guests to offer an extraordinary experience, Supercar Owners Circle pays tribute to the region through a special project realised in collaboration with Swiss light artist Gerry Hofstetter.
Part of the proceeds will support local organisations and initiatives. The event will feature classic cars and youngtimers from the 1930s to the early 2000s, driven by crews from countries including Japan, the United States, Argentina, the Netherlands, and Monaco.
Among the fifty standout cars are the ex-Fittipaldi Lotus Type 72, the remarkable ‘lost’ Lotus Type 66, one of the fifteen official Ferrari 365 Daytona Competizione Gruppo 4, one of only fifty Ferrari 250 California LWB models produced, and one of the forty-five Ferrari 250 SWB Competizione. The legendary Ferrari F40 and Ferrari F50 will be joined by the Porsche 906, as the model that won the Targa Florio in ’66, and the Porsche 550 RS Spyder, famous for the 1945 Carrera Panamericana.
Special mentions go to the Mercedes 300 SL Alloy Gullwing, and the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, with only nineteen examples made. Also noteworthy are the Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS Spider Zagato, the same model that won the 1929 Mille Miglia, and the powerful Koenigsegg CCX, an 806 hp youngtimer from Sweden made in just forty-nine examples.
During the event, two brand-new and highly awaited cars will be unveiled, adding even more excitement to the line-up. In particular, the remarkable HWA EVO inspired by a Mercedes 190 EVO II will make its highly anticipated live debut, combining high-tech features and a high-performance engine with a design that echoes the iconic sports sedan of the 1990s, and offering participants the exclusive opportunity to see it in action and witness its inaugural drive on the road.
This exclusive weekend, a return to the Supercar Owners Circle’s roots, combines the elegance of a concours with the thrill of a rally, creating an extraordinary event that will explore some of Switzerland’s most picturesque landscapes. Participants will drive through three of the most famous mountain passes: Susten, Furka, and Oberalp, which will be closed to traffic for the occasion. On Saturday, June 22, the cars will gather at Ambrì Airport, also closed to allow guests to drive on the track.
The Supercar Owners Circle is committed to offsetting all CO2 emissions produced during the event through its partnership with Carbon Connect AG, which has certified the event as carbon neutral.
The event features prestigious automotive partners such as Lotus, HWA, Aston Martin Zürich, Official Ferrari Dealer Niki Hasler, Kessel | Pagani Official Dealer and for its world debut, Naran Automotive.
