Sustainable “Casali” villas are coming soon

Works are almost finished for sustainable villas in traditional Mediterranean rural style where hi-tech meets sustainable well-being.

Part of the Lusseri project, these new houses – known as the “Casali” – sit at the very heart of beautiful Matera, where the integration of styles and the respect of the environment play first fiddle.

All residences are eco-certified to prestigious standards, and combine design interiors and premium finishings with cutting-edge home automation solutions and a touch display for high performances in terms of energy consumption. These ‘NZEBs’ (Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings) reduce consumption and negative impacts on the environment.

In addition to luxury interiors, all sustainable villas have outer gardens extending from 700 to 1000 square meters. The buildings are powered by renewable energy sources, but the real innovation of this new frontier of eco-luxury is its construction technique: called P55, it is a peculiar and innovative system of multi-layered 55-cm walls, based on an ancient building practice (thicker walls) improved by modern techniques (layering with isolating materials) for houses that retain heat, prevent any noise pollution, and offer high earthquake resistance.
