The I.C.E. ST. MORITZ 2022

The sun, the mountains, and forty-five dream cars on the frozen lake to the delight of a very large audience of car lovers

In an enchanting setting such as the frozen lake of St. Moritz, surrounded by the Swiss Alps, the best of classic motoring was celebrated. With these premises, it could only be a great success with top-level cars, world-famous collectors and historical motoring figures and an exceptional audience participation.

During the morning 45 dream cars, divided into 5 thematic classes, participated in The I.C.E. St. Moritz – International Concours of Elegance 2022, performing in two consecutive sessions and attracting the attention of fans, public and media who flocked to the event from all over the world.

The very high level of the cars competing, among the most significant interpreters in the history of world motoring, made it difficult for the Jury to choose and announce the winners.

Here are the Queens of the I.C.E. St. Moritz – International Concours of Elegance 2022.

JET SET ON ICE class: 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB, one of only 4 275 GTB “long nose” in aluminum, an example of style and dynamism.

STARS on WHEELS class: 1968 Lamborghini Miura, the protagonist of the opening scene of The Italian Job.

VINTAGE ROAD RACING class: 1967 Morris Mini Cooper S ex Works, winner of numerous Rallies.

BARCHETTAS ON THE LAKE Class: 1953 Jaguar C Type, owned by the same family since 1970.

VINTAGE GRAND PRIX class: 1939 Maserati 4CL, designed by Ernesto Maserati.

A special day, sprinkled with delicate fresh snow and kissed by the sun, hosted an extraordinary community of enthusiasts who entertained themselves in the Village of The I.C.E., magically hosted on the frozen water surface and animated by the partners of the event, famous brands linked to the automotive sector, food & beverage and the world of glamor and fashion which, through product placement and prestigious novelties, have contributed to the celebration of beauty in the enchanted mountains of Engadin.

The satisfaction of the organizers is palpable, as we can tell by the words of Marco Makaus, creator and patron of The I.C.E. St. Moritz: “After the début edition of 2019, we had to wait two years to be able to realize this dream, which started 37 years ago.

The result of our patience and the work of all those who collaborated was worth the long wait. We thank the Automotive Partner, the Partners, the Exhibitors, and the Sponsors who have renewed their trust in us.

A special thanks goes to all the media, the photographers and influencers who follow us, and to the large group of car lovers of all ages and nations who, with their
enthusiasm, contribute, year after year, to making The I.C.E. St. Moritz – International Concours of Elegance the beating heart of an event on “top of the world”!
