Six Sense: a New Luxury Hotel in Rome

Six Senses, which belongs to the Intercontinental Hotels Group, an important Thai company, will open a hotel in a building in Via Del Corso dating back to the 18th century and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO

Six Senses, the chain of luxury hotels and resorts plans the opening of 5 new hotels, one of which in Italy, in Rome.

Six Senses, which belongs to the Intercontinental Hotels Group, an important Thai company, will open a hotel in a building in Via Del Corso dating back to the 18th century and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The news is reported by Luxurytraveladvisor.com, which adds the features of the structure: 95 rooms and suites, a Six Senses spa, a restaurant, a courtyard with an outdoor garden and a panoramic terrace with 360 degree views over the city.

In addition to its debut in Italy, Six Senses plans other openings for next year: a resort in Shaharut in Israel, in Ibiza in Spain, in Fort Barwara in Rajasthan and in New York in the USA. As for the latter hotel, the headline anticipates that it will rise above the Chelsea district of Manhattan, along the High Line, and was designed by architect Bjark Ingels.

The hotel will have rooms and suites, two restaurants and a Six Senses spa. Returning to Italy, Six Senses will not stop in Rome. In 2023 he plans to open a resort in Umbria, the Six Senses Antognolla, 71 rooms in a castle in a rural setting, among olive trees, vineyards and hills, in addition to 79 villas and apartments, with a high-end wellness offer, an 18-hole golf course, a cooking school and an organic farm.
