Destination Sardinia

The exclusive event in Venice on March 14th.

An event to encourage the tourist flow of the American market (and not only) in favor of companies associated with the Tourism Section of Confindustria Central North Sardinia.

Sardinia presents itself to operators in the tourism sector. A confirmation but also an opportunity to rediscover an extraordinary and still almost unknown region, combining communication and marketing. “Destination Sardinia” is the exclusive event promoted by Confindustria Centro Nord Sardegna Tourism Section and by Ca’ Sagredo Hotel on 14 March, from 5.30 to 9 pm, in Campo Santa Sofia, Venice.

The goal is to encourage the tourist flow of the American market, and not only, for the member companies of the Tourism Section of the Industrial Association of Central Northern Sardinia.

An initiative born following a request shared by some associated companies and emerged during the participation in the ILTM (International Luxury Travel Market) in Cannes: on that occasion a growing demand was perceived from the American market towards Sardinia.

Venice, a city of international tourist importance, but also a location connected with the whole world and headquarters of important agencies (DMC) that deal with the organization of logistic services for tourism, holidays and business, is the ideal place to spread the message that the island, with its environmental attractions and top-level hotel facilities, ensures the operator maximum customer satisfaction.

Media, travel agencies, wedding planners, DMC, Mice, airlines, trade associations, cultural associations (including Rotary Clubs and Lions Clubs), sports clubs, but also the opportunity to create an accurate relational database between participating companies: these are the targets of “Destinazione Sardegna”.

The overseas markets of North America, but also of South America, as well as Canada

explains Nicola Monello, president of the Tourism Section of Confindustria Centro Northern Sardinia

represent a great opportunity for Northern Sardinia. These are high-spending customers on average who wish to discover and experience Italian culture and style. Venice, but also Rome, Milan and Florence, are the first “attractors” for these customers who then take advantage of the direct connections with Olbia to add 4 or 5 nights to discover an authentic and unique part of Italy in terms of traditions and natural beauty. I would like to thank Cinzia Callegari, marketing manager of Cascioni Eco Retreat, creator and organizer of this important event. You had a wonderful intuition and together with the other associates and our executives of Confindustria you made the initiative possible in just a few weeks. We hope to be able to replicate it in other cities as well.

We welcome with great pleasure an event dedicated to such a peculiar island, as is Venice, showing a connection, a bridge, between two tourist realities with identities strongly linked to the territory in which they are located,

declares Lorenza Lain, general manager of Ca’ Sagredo Hotel.

During the event on March 14, an aperitif with tasting of wines, oil and typical Sardinian products will be guaranteed. The participation of chef Daniele Sechi of Gabbiano Azzurro & Suites is also expected.

Joining and taking part in the initiative: Abi D’Oru Beach Hotel & Spa, Cala Ginepro Hotels, Cascioni Eco Retreat, Costa Smeralda Consortium, Porto Rotondo Consortium, Hotel & Residence Cormoran, Delphina Hotels & Resort, Hotel Don Diego, Doubletree by Hilton Olbia, Due Lune Puntaldia Resort & Golf, Gabbiano Azzurro Hotel & Suites, Immobilsarda, Karasardegna, Hotel Sporting Porto Rotondo and Su Gologone Experience Hotel. With the participation of Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport.
