Glamore makes its debut in hospitality

Glamore

The Glamor Milano Duomo opens in Milan.

In the heart of the Milanese capital, overlooking Piazza Duomo, the 5-star The Glamore Milano Duomo opens in April. Located in the historic building that overlooks the north side of the square, it expands from the entrance to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II to the corner with via Mengoni.

The accommodation facility represents the first expansion piece in the hospitality of the Glamore Group, specialized to date in the entertainment and food & beverage sector.

Glamore

“In recent years we have been busy looking for new opportunities to expand our offer by entering the hospitality sector – specifies Federico Crotti, Hospitality director of Glamore Group – as a natural passage from the world of entertainment and food & beverage of which Glamore Group is one leaders in Italy. Milan has always been at the top of our destinations, we could not imagine a more suitable and exclusive location like Piazza Duomo to create our first hotel capable of celebrating the heritage and splendor of this representative place and, at the same time, extending the tourist offer of Milan through a fascinating lifestyle experience in the heart of the city”.

The rooms and suites of the structure, which will initially be 15 and then become 33 by spring 2024, are located on the third floor, most of which have a private balcony and a view of the square and the cathedral. The design of the hotel combines interiors with modern furnishings and the latest technologies.

Furthermore, the building also offers a choice of historic rooms with period frescoes for meetings, lounges and different types of spaces for customizable events.

The name of the hotel, which comes from the combination of the words ‘glamour’ and ‘more’ (more than glamour), is presented as a vertical hub that integrates multiple experiences, entirely managed by the group, such as Terrazza Duomo 21, the Duomo 21 restaurant and Verso restaurant.

Terrace Duomo 21, on the first floor of the building, overlooks the square and offers evening entertainment until late at night, where it is possible to sip selected cocktails and “rare” wine labels.

Inside there is the breakfast room, which can also be enjoyed on the terrace, with a variety of choices where hot dishes are served à la carte and whose pastry bears the signature of Ernst Knam.

The premises also host the Duomo 21 Restaurant, with a view inside the Gallery thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows with typical Italian and international cuisine signed by the starred chef Roberto Conti.

The Verso restaurant of the brothers Remo and Mario Capitaneo takes place on the second floor with no barrier between the dining room and the kitchen. Around the fires, three chef’s tables look out to welcome guests, to watch the work of the brigade.

Furthermore, Glamore has already acquired new spaces on the upper floors, to complete the vertical development, where additional locations for events, entertainment and catering will be opened, thus completing the wide range of proposals.
