Forrest in Town: the former Galbani in Milan becomes a luxury residential complex

Each residential unit of Forrest in Town is designed to accommodate all the latest technologies in terms of energy saving and eco-sustainable construction

Between the Naviglio Grande and the IULM University: this is where the new luxury residential complex designed by Daniele Fiori’s DFA Partners will rise in collaboration with the Boffa Petrone & Partners studio.

The meaning of the name

The complex will give new life to the former Galbani factory and the name given to it hides a good play on words.

Forest in English means forest but the two “R” refer to For Rest, which means “to rest”.

From the name, therefore, the two guidelines followed for this project are very clear: redevelop an abandoned area and look to the future to offer an oasis of peace in the city.

The structure of the green luxury complex

The idea behind the entire architectural project is to respect the atmosphere of the typical Milanese railing houses.

Great attention to the care of the landscape: it will be a true co-star of this oasis of urban peace, with a park of 5500mq.

Gardening, ecology and horticulture will come together in a single environment, which will combine country atmospheres with luxury home design.

There will be space for a condominium park with grandiose fruit trees, for a hydroponic vegetable garden and for a playground designed for the little ones, all designed with natural elements.

The Forrest houses in town

Luxury and sustainability embrace not only in outdoor spaces.

The housing solutions proposed, from the apartment to the two-room apartment passing through the townhouse, are designed to accommodate those who will live there in the most extreme comfort, without forgetting respect for the environment.

Natural materials such as wood, stone and wrought iron will be at the heart of the interior design.

Each residential unit of Forrest in Town is designed to accommodate all the latest technologies in terms of energy saving and eco-sustainable construction.

According to the designers’ statements, the delivery of the Forrest in Town in Milan should be completed by Christmas 2022.
