Bring a luxury item back to the store and receive a voucher: sustainability passes through Lampoo.
Fashion victims from all over the world know this: the most important brands never cease to amaze or make millions of customers fall in love with each catwalk, with dream creations and accessories.
So then maybe the wardrobe turns out to be a potential precious resource.
The novelty of sustainable luxury comes from the smartphone: it’s called Lampoo and it’s a platform that sells second-hand luxury items online.
In collaboration with Camera Buyer Italia – The Best Shops, the luxury app has launched an initiative that promises to give new light to the second hand.
Lampoo: how it works
The stores that have joined the network initiative are transformed into real collection points.
Those who want to free the wardrobe from (strictly designer) bags and clothes can take it to the nearest store.
At this point, the people in charge of Lampoo will collect the garments, evaluate them and assign them a new price. They will also take care of digitizing the items and putting them back for sale on the portal, only after having certified their authenticity.
Against this delivery, the customer will be given a voucher to make new purchases in the store and thus encourage a circle of virtuous economy.
Sustainable fashion: the advantages
The Lampoo initiative is already depopulating: many stores and several brands are joining the project.
The reasons for the success are different: first of all, a new idea of sustainable luxury is being promoted.
Secondly, the points of sale are undoubtedly “free” of the sometimes burdensome and complex management of the second hand sales channel.
The third advantage is economic: both for those who decide to take advantage of the voucher, and for all those who will go to buy luxury products from the Lampoo portal, realizing the dream of owning an object of the best brands without necessarily having to shell out prohibitive amounts.
