The Hotel joins Leading Hotels of the World.

A landmark of Neo-Renaissance architecture designed by one of Europe’s most celebrated architects, Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna proudly announces its acceptance into the prestigious Leading Hotels of the World programme – a curated collection of independent luxury hotels across more than 80 countries, each selected for its distinctive character and exceptional standards. As the first Vienna property to join this prestigious collection in more than two decades, this milestone heralds a new chapter for the historic hotel, reaffirming its place among the world’s finest.

In April 2025, following its rebrand, the luxury hotel on Vienna’s Ringstrasse unveiled a comprehensive refresh, introducing Anantara’s signature hallmarks: a revitalised Anantara Spa, redesigned guest rooms and elevated dining experiences – including Michelin-starred EDVARD – all while pairing imperial elegance with contemporary sophistication. As Anantara’s first property in the German-speaking region, the reimagined palace brings the brand’s experiential luxury to the heart of Vienna, setting a new benchmark for hospitality in the city.
