The second edition of the Venice Boat Show has been confirmed, which will see the best of Italian and international boating in 9 days at the Arsenale.

To date, about 130 exhibitors have registered from shipyards and nautical accessories companies and over 150 boats in boats in the water.

Salone Nautico Venezia

An incomparable historical context in the heart of Venice, that of the historic Arsenale of Venice, consisting of a water basin of 50,000 square meters, over 1500 linear meters of piers, 10,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition spaces, and covered pavilions for a total of approximately 10,000 meters .

A unique place in the world where naval art is enhanced by the context and the contemporary presence of the Biennale’s International Architecture Exhibition.

Salone Nautico Venezia

The event, organized by Vela Spa on behalf of the Municipality of Venice, avails itself of the collaboration of the Italian Navy and the partnership of the Venice Rovigo Chamber of Commerce.

The in-depth topics for this new edition are:

• Sustainability and environmental impact, or mobility and electric, hybrid and innovative motors with the participation of several dozen Italian and European shipyards;
• Sailing Yacht, the novelty of 2021 comes with a 96 linear meter double-sided wharf, entirely dedicated to the sailing boats of the most prestigious international and Italian shipyards;
• Motor Yacht, with boats from 15 to 40 meters in length that will be exhibited in the “main yacht riviera” and in the new piers under construction.

The program also includes the first Full Electric regatta called “E REGATTA”, organized by the partners Assonautica di Venezia, Associazione Motonautica di Venezia, VeniceAgenda2028, Venti di Cultura and IWI-Inland Waterways International, with endurance, agility and speed tests.

A dedicated area called E-Village will also be created, where companies involved in the electric and eco-sustainable propulsion sector will exhibit.

The slogan “Naval art comes home” will, again this year, be the leitmotif of an exhibition which, three months after its official opening, is already proving to surpass the results of 2019

comments Mayor Luigi Brugnaro, creator and first promoter of the event

And so, after the stop imposed by the pandemic for the 2020 edition, everything is ready for tradition and innovation, engineering and eco-sustainability to once again take center stage in the 9-day exhibition in the characteristic setting of the Arsenale. Thanks to the important works carried out for the arrangement of the Tese – the exhibition spaces doubled compared to 2019 – and the investments to equip the entire area, we are now ready again to host the excellence of world boating

An invitation that is already collecting 50% more boats in the water than the total number reached in 2019 and over 20% more exhibitors.

Salone Nautico Venezia

An important result that we plan to expand in order to make this edition of the Boat Show, fully included among the events celebrating the 1600th anniversary of the Venice Foundation, truly exceptional.

concludes Brugnaro

Thanks to all those who have been working hard for months to organize, in implementation of all the most stringent regulations on health safety, an event that pays homage to the City, its important naval history and, above all, gives space to Italian and world excellence. showcasing the best of boating and the most innovative technologies in terms of environmental protection and sustainable mobility. A challenge, that of the hybridization of engines or the transition to full-electric, which will become a reality at the Show, with the presentation of new models. The Municipality and Metropolitan City of Venice have already allocated 1.5 million euros for the transition to low and / or zero emission engines
