Italy and its beautiful cities of art return to be protagonists of haute couture.

After Armani who had announced the return to Milan of the Armani Privè fashion show to be held next January at Palazzo Orsini in via Borgonuovo, the brand’s historic Milanese venue, other brands from the Bel Paese also greet Paris.

Valentino confirmed his presence within the digital event organized by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (6-8 July). But, during the online event, the brand will preview only the inspiration of the exclusive live performance that will not be held in Paris but in Rome on Tuesday 21 July, at the Cinecittà studios.

The Haute Couture F/W 2020-21 collection will be presented through a special show created by the creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli in collaboration with the artist Nick Knight. The event will be broadcast live on the brand’s digital channels and, in compliance with the current safety standards imposed by the Covid-19 emergency, some fashion critics based in Italy will be invited to the Roman event.

Florence also returns to being the protagonist by hosting the special project created by Dolce & Gabbana with Pitti Immagine. On Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 there will be the Haute Couture and Haute Couture events of the brand which, in recent times, has emphasized its Italian DNA with emphasis.

“The creations of the two designers – reads a note – will parade together with those of a selected group of artisans, chosen by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana visiting their shops, which represent the excellence and know-how of the most authentic Florentine tradition “.
