SIHH 2019, the International Fine Watchmaking Trade Fair took place in Geneva last week, from 14 to 17 January.

One of the most important novelties of this fair was the announcement of the collaboration that will see SIHH and Baselworld protagonists next year.

This year’s edition of SIHH 2019 brought together 18 of the best Swiss watchmakers along with 17 independent names. With 35 ultra-luxury exhibitors, including brands such as Cartier, Vacheron Constantin and Hermès, the event presented some of the most technically advanced and expensive watches in the world, with an exclusive design.

The SIHH, hall of ancient tradition and recognized for cutting-edge technology, presented important innovations again this year.

In Vacheron Constantin’s Patrimony collection, we saw an imposing blue tone penetrate its dials, from an hour-long classic reference to its retrograde date-day model. The Genevan 40 mm automatic carousel is a unique watch with 196 components of its 2460 Q6 caliber, including an oscillating weight in 22 carat gold.

Designed by Ini Archibong, the new Galop d’Hermès was one of the highlights for women at SIHH 2019. The light is reflected in the curves, warming the metal and blowing the shapes with vivacity. Through the domed sapphire crystal, this unique watch enhances the sweetness of the dial.

The new modern Dazzling Rendez-Vous Night & Day watch with an exclusive design is a true marvel of watchmaking and refinement. With a new griffe technique, this Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece expresses generosity and preciousness: the shape of the case and the floral figures, the two rows of diamonds and the mother-of-pearl dial illuminate the Night & Day function.

The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Edition “Mojave Desert” by IWC is the first sand-ceramic watch with a ceramic case. This unique watch is a limited edition watch and its sand-colored ceramic is inspired by the Mojave Desert, home of the Naval Air Weapons Station in China Lake. In addition to this, the color matches perfectly with the uniforms worn by the Navy pilots and is the result of a combination of zirconium oxide with other metal oxides.

For his latest presentation at the Salon de la Haute Horlogerie 2019, the Swiss luxury brand Richard Mille takes us on a nostalgic trip to the candy store, once again creating a very colorful buzz. Be impressed, we present you some watches from the Richard Mille Bonbon collection.

Lange 1 by A. Lange & Söhne was one of the first unique watches made after the reestablishment of this branded manufacture. This timepiece is an extraordinary combination of tradition and innovation that makes it an excellent example of Lange watchmaking art. With pioneering features, this expensive watch is writing history.

The Panerai Luna Rossa submarine PAM 1039 is water resistant to 300 meters and has a very unique texture and appearance, similar to wood grain with a zebra pattern. By enhancing the strong personality, this modern watch is a great marriage between the luxury brand and Prada.
