NYFW Fall 2019-20: a good debut…sort of.
The absence of brands like Calvin Klein, Rodarte, Escada, and Victoria Beckham weighed heavily on the NY fashion calendar; not to mention the fact that the brands that did show up weren’t exactly appealing for the press, especially the local magazine, which called the latest runway trends “unoriginal” and “old fashioned”.
After a weak showing in the Big Apple, what should we expect from the ready-to-wear trends featured on the London catwalks from February 15 to 19?
The runways definitely won’t be lacking in color: Pantone Fashion Color, the fashion guide on the upcoming color trends, announced that bold and bright shades will be the main trend of the next fall-winter season.
According to the Pantone report, the trendiest colors for the next fall-winter season will include 12 bold shades and 4 classic neutrals: a palette full of strong, bold hues that give off a confident, determined vibe, reflecting the current importance of women empowerment.

From red to brown tones, from orange to pink hues, from the deepest blues to forest greens; this color range is full of food-inspired names, including Sugar Almond, Dark Cheddar, Crème de Pêche, Vanilla Custard and Guacamole.
