A few hours after the official inauguration, Palazzo Maffei, overlooking Verona’s Piazza delle Erbe, has opened its doors to professionals, offering an impressive glimpse of the Luigi Carlon collection.

The Palazzo Maffei house-museum is the result of the restoration of the most prestigious seventeenth-century palace in the city, the museum offers an important focus on Veronese painting and the passion for Italian futurism and metaphysics. Palazzo Maffei, with its Baroque facade, houses this art collection that ranges from the end of the fourteenth century until today, the result of over fifty years of collecting passion of the entrepreneur Luigi Carlon.
